Yes, it was resolved shortly after I posted this. Still should have never happened.
As for the VPS, it has good performance and great latency to some of my backend servers in Phoenix so I'm pretty happy with it. We'll be monitoring it for 30-45 days to ensure good connectivity before we use it for anything important.
