LES Italy IPV6 dead since days

Hello,
my LES Italy VPS has been unreachable via IPV6 from most part of the world (17 of 25 of the cloudflare colos). I reported this on the forum but nothing has changed. I'm not sure what to do, I understand the price and that it comes with "little support" (as written on their site) but shouldn't at least support take care of things if customers can't reach the service?

My question is: who should I contact to let them notice?

  • They have a ticket system for LES. Of course you should contact them.

Lol, I'm sorry for the question... where is it? :|

  • @sandro InceptionHosting WHMCS, Open Ticket, make sure you choose the LES option:

Seems like an inbound issue only.

  • @AnthonySmith Ah, I see what he's saying. Some routes aren't working, like anything HE. I get nada trying to ping a LES italy v6 address via my HE tunnel at home.

I was aware that there was an issue reaching the UK LES node I did not know it was as widespread, confirmed it seems to be HE related traffic, I opened a ticket but @matteob just closed it saying he cant do anything if they don't announce to seflow, I have updated the ticket.

haha no worries, I removed all adverts inc signatures etc from this site due to the volume of attacks it was generating which was causing disruption for customers, I still like the community though so I stick around in name only.

  • So just to be clear SEflow needs to care of this?

With a half-broken IPv6 (no access from "17 of 25 cloudflare colos"), tickets or threads shouldn't be brushed off like that, even if "ping6 google" works.

    FWIW I also can't access www.seflow.it IPv6 from both OVH and Online.net.

    That's probably a different problem

    traceroute6 www.seflow.it

maybe because web ipv6 access is disabled on our website? :-)

Problem show here is simple, we're not receive that network from any of our upstream, HE, Level3, NTT nor of that are advertising that network....

Then why did you add the AAAA record on "www."?
As it stands, for example users of Squid can't access your website:

The Squid proxy does not fallback to IPv4.
Others (especially with older browsers) will experience delays while the browser tries the "disabled" IPv6 address, before going to IPv4.
It blows my mind you don't even realize that this is a problem, and instead try to be funny ":-)" about it.

And what are you doing to fix it ? :P

Not exactly, this avoid most proxy users access on it and reduced lot of abuser order.

@sandro And what are you doing to fix it ? :P

If 3 of major tier 1 provider don't advertise one network, hard to fix... owner of that network should should really review his configuration.

Are you sure, the thing is this literally only affects your network, sounds a little odd, HE being one of them who operate open peering anyway.

What "one network"? He said it's 17 of 25 of the cloudflare colos, unless I'm missing something.
So do you imply the problem is with CloudFlare, that they are 70% down on IPv6 for all of NTT, HE and Level3?

matteob said: Not exactly, this avoid most proxy users access on it and reduced lot of abuser order.

With the level of understanding that you demonstrate of IPv6, I am not surprised in the slightest that your network configuration could be screwed up in some intricate manner with regard to IPv6.

AAAA record still not removed from www.seflow.it.

    hi,
i cannot do anything because is hurricane that control their prefix. Tomorrow i will ask him why that ip is not advertised on Milan.

    Regards

feels like either someone literally could not care less or they genuinely do not know what the problem is which I would find odd.
