Don't sign up with 1and1, the £1/$1 may seem appealing at first but then it becomes a nightmare. Just sign up to internet.bs/namecheap or name.com for $8-$10/year.
Ah I see. What happens with 1and1s offer? Do you know of anywhere else that has any offers like that ok? I know godaddy did but it expired.
Ever tried to cancel something at 1&1? Suddenly you need a fax machine, photo ID and lots of notice etc etc.
Honestly for the amount of time it is, just go to Namecheap.

Yea, namecheap are good but I was hoping for some sort of first year offer.
What's it for? Surely for anything worthwhile the $5 for a .co.uk is peanuts.

i used Yourhosting (Dutch) to register a few domains 1 Euro for a .nl
GoDaddy has a 0.99$ domain sale. It is for new customers, and seems to be limited for one per credit card. The code is: GETFIT99
