What is your choice for self-hosting chat on webiste?

We would like to have an easy way to interact with customer similar to http://www.livechatinc.com/, but self-hosting.

What are your suggestions?

PS: if the price is very low (<10$ month), cloud-hosting is fine too

it looks promising but quite complicated. I may not need a complete admin to manage that. My scenario is simple that the customer comes in, and start chat, he/she will be routed to my skype.

Yes, simple... A skype button does that.

As to a chat widget > Skype... that is not so simple.

www.zopim.com supports linking your Skype to their service but it's not selfhosted.
