Trying to fix these issues with rDns & Dkim

n1kkon1kko Member

This is driving me insane, I have set rDns in solusvm & added SPF & Dkim at my domain provider (internetbs) I have also added rDns in WHM add dns zone.

Your provider has to set rdns, you can't do it (unless you control the IP allocation).

I did open a support ticket with my provider but they said I can do it from solusvm. So will reopen the ticket

Ah, that's different. Before you said WHM :)

Check that rdns is in effect for your mailserver name:

    [me@serv] host my.mailserver.com

    (returns your IP address).

    [me@serv] host ipAddress

(returns my.mailserver.com if rdns is set).

Test from different locations if you can.

He said WHM last, so that's all that registered in my Sunday morning brain :) Sorry for the confusion n1kko.

Thanks guys all sorted. After a few other tests with mx toolbox mail tester rdns test is false positive.
