Does nobody want to chime in? A little part of me just died.

  • It's under Providerservice and GetKvm or vmport, i forgot.

Usually, a vps from providerservice is good, but the problem is just the billing methods, a bit different from the others. Do you want to purchase the vps from them?

I have a vps from UltraVPS.
    But, it's only been days.
So far they're quite helpful and the machine is on since I got it.
When I ask something, usually the response time is quick and yeah, I asked a lot! :D

@darknyan I highly recommend them. I have several services with them and got excellent prices/support/network. Top notch provider from Germany.

Maybe I will write a review about them later..

As we like to say on LET IRC, you suck, @darknyan
What in the world stops you from perhaps going here:
    http://lowendbox.com/blog/ultravps-e2month-512mb-and-e3month-1gb-xen-vps-in-dusseldorf-germany/
    or here http://lowendbox.com/tag/providerservice-com/
    and reading all the comments/reviews???

The very limited amount of comments located on that post and unease from WHT which makes me reconsider and require more advice.

Allegedly, they never respond to support tickets.

    Did not use UltraVPS, only ProviderService, but allegedly it's the just same people;
and ProviderService always answered my tickets pretty quickly and professionally.

they are no nonsense people. German seriousness at it's best. You probably ask for something nothing about their support. So basically they won't answer.

Requested IPv6 and got it assigned within same day. All addresses didn't work at beginning. Sent another mail, got answer in 2 days and they fixed it within same day. Not the fastest initial response to reported issue, but got solution for non-urgent matter in 3 days after initially contacted them.
After that I didn't need to contact ProviderService in almost two years - no downtimes or other issues.

I have services with ProviderService since 6months+ and absolutely no reason to complain at all. Those are the best german VMs that I have ever had.

Would you please PM me the ticket IDs? I would like to check what went wrong in your case.

I am not an UltraVPS customer. Those tickets were from a WHT thread a few years back.

UltraVPS.eu is a new brand started in December 2013. These old threads on WHT might be related to UltraVPS.com which is not a part of our company.

Ah, that clears up a lot of things.

If it hasn't been posted already, what are your node specs?

  • UltraVPSUltraVPS Member, Patron Provider

We use the following hardware for our nodes: Supermicro Servers with Dual Xeon L5639, 96 GB RAM and 8 SAS drives in RAID-10.

simply hijacking this thread I would like to ask @UltraVPS if you do some kind of automated backups on a regular base or maybe give the ability to take snapshot within your packages?

furthermore I would appreciate to know if the 5-day refund you mentioned over at LEB thread and those contract length terms will apply for german customers too (because thats nowhere to find in your AGB, aka german version of TOS).

(Antwort gern auch deutsch per PM ;-))

Top stuff. No idea about support, since I haven't needed it for close to 2 years now.

as far as i can say by now, fast and friendly answers to presales question, automated instant provisioning after paying via PayPal. Looks very promising:
