Note: It's probably recorded with a microwave, but it pretty much sums my opinion about digital coins.

  • I have about 30K DogeCoin today, but I've exchanged it to BTC.

How much BTC did you get?

  • I traded 1k doge for 0.0012 btc.

FYI it's a good idea to mine Doges using the 100$ Amazon EC2 coupon and a GPU instance.

    Much coins, so wow:

    What software do you use?

    cpuminer

  • Didn't this recent coin crash teach you nothing? Digital currencies are about as reliable as walking a paper tightrope.

    Simply, don't do it lol.

It's just a gamble. Nobody here will dump all their cash into doge/btc/etc. You don't lose anything by getting 50$ worth of btc/doge/ltc

  • lol people selling on eBay.

I need to get myself an Elastic Compute Doge, my 7850 only churns out <200kH/s

@joodle You'll want to use GUIMiner-Scrypt depending on if you have a good GPU

  • I am a Ford man not a Dodge guy. :-)

  • Doge is a hyped coin. Simply think 1,000,000 doges are being produced every single minute. It is way overvalued. When miners are massively dumping their coins it will crash.

    ^^ This.

  • I'm having 0.03BTC for the exchange :)

  • Well, each doge is worth 0.00000241btc as of this moment

    thats quite something

  • wat, 50k for ~200 euros? Tough shit for me when i sold 650k for about 400.

  • I have 15k Dogecoins to sell - any offers?

  • 6.6mil dogecoin here, been selling off small portions when the BTC equiv. spikes.

  • HardCloud said: 6.6mil dogecoin here

Holy shit, what did you use for mining?

  • @gsrdgrdghd said:

    I used my:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20 GHz (3.94 GHz)
    GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6670 (2t / 18i) @ 900 MHz / 500 MHz

Slightly overclocked all around, it's just my workstation. I joined very early on, so I was one of the few mining without a pool (and thus collecting 1mil blocks) before it took off some hours later.

  • I lost 11k on dogewallet scam. :/

  • My friend is into it and has dual r9 290x's. He only started recently but is making about 7k/day. Got a good 30k in hand at last count. I didn't get into it but should have. Just waiting on the scrypt miners like the block erupters to come out.

That is because governments keep the rates artificially stable and influence them at will.

  • I can't see why everyone is hyping doge up, its quite clearly a troll coin for the idiots who think its going to be the next bitcoin lol

LTC/BTC/NMC is the only ones I really consider worthy.

Thats why you mine the hell out of it and then trade up.
