Starting free service - What CP to use?

Hi,

You may or may not have seen my other posts but I have decided that I am going to start providing a service free.

My obvious first choice is to use WHMCS as it fully supports free services and its a very good billing panel although it is $19 in the UK.

Are there any other panels that are good which can do the same thing or better at a lower price?

Or are there any open-source panels which can help me.

As long as it allows a user to sign up and auto provision services then thats fine.

    Yea lol @rmlhhd
you better just think things out more deeply and then come with a final plan
if you have questions after that then make a new thread
that would be more organized and peace of mind.

First thing you should figure out is what service. Prostitutes? No whmcs module.

For billing & Support you could use www.boxbilling.com
i've used this in the past and it works flawless
boxbilling could also automate setup etc just like whmcs
but you have to put a little effort in it if you want automation.

Its free, if you grow you might need to purchase a license.

  • Think different and out of the box and give HostBill a shot.

Are you researching anywhere other than LET?

  • @Nekki

Not currently but will be doing so tomorrow.

Think there'd be a market for that?

  • @jarland @ MrObvious

That's isn't what I'm going to do but it is possible.

You could create a module which contacts the nearest prostitute to the clients address.

  • This is a joke right?

  • Clientexec is cheaper and it's a pretty nice billing system too
