Observium Setup

Now I've been trying to get observium to work but I keep getting this message;

"Device not yet polled

This device has not yet been successfully polled. System information and statistics will not be populated and graphs will not draw.
Please wait 5-10 minutes for graphs to draw correctly."

I can't seem to work out where I went wrong, I've doubled checked the FAQ's and Installation documentation and can't see anything obvious.

Everything else works, but it polling :/

Anyone experienced with this stuff?

    Have you actually added the agent on the target machine and configured it?

  • Did you run the poller.php script like the documentation says? Are your cron jobs running?

    The agent? Now this is where I probably went wrong I guess, could you point me in the right direction?

  • Ah re-running

    ./discovery.php -h all
    ./poller.php -h all

    Appeared to bring it online, weird as that was alreadyt done

    This:

    ./poller.php -h host -d

    worked for me! Replace host obviously with your hostname.

  • Is there a way I can see how much ram and cpu a kvm vps is using inside observium? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Do I need to install something on each vps to monitory ram and cpu usage?

  • LOL, there drops OP??
