12€/yr continues: 2 vCPU Cores, 512 MB RAM, 15 GB SSD, Anti DDoS, KVM in London or Frankfurt
Hi all,
some days ago we launched our new location in London and our deal we were already offering in Frankfurt is now live in London as well. All inbound traffic is currently routed through Voxilitys Anti DDoS protection in both locations. I would like to inform you that we will most likely change the protection in London to a different solution soon while we keep Voxility in Frankfurt. Your machines will be DDoS protected in both locations though, now and in the future.

Looks fast, nice control panel. Smooth setup.
Happy
I'm really happy with Nodion.
"Paypal payment is temporarily unavailable. Please use credit card [...]"
@nik - How temporary is this? I'd love to order in both your locations, but paypal is much preferred...
We think there is currently an issue with firefox, at least this is where we were able to reproduce this issue. Please try it with another browser for now.
It must be related to uBlock Origin and uMatrix, I had to use a different computer, but eventually got there. I even disabled both but still ran into problems. Strange. Thanks for replying to this and my ticket so fast. So far I'm really happy with the service
Nodion is good
Offer looks great but no idea what I should do with the VPS except idling
Since I finally have $, I'm considering this. ;D
Any 4-6gb ram VPS from Netherlands with SSD and 10tb traffic ?
The one who dies with the most idlers.. still dies!
Nodion's simple, no-hack interface is well worth the price of admission.
We can do custom deals, but we don't offer netherlands as location (at least not for the next 7 days :-P)
We are fine with idlers
Any 1GB RAM discount offer?
Solid service!
Got a 512MB machine. Very impressive.
We can make custom deals, please join our live chat.
Hi,
Can you make me a deal for 1gb ram?
Please join our live chat :-)
I am not sure if its me, but I cannot find anywhere live chat - just a ticket.
Simply visit nodion.com and on the bottom right there should be the live chat. thanks.
Maybe it is not visible in my region? http://imgur.com/a/Tr2Q4
That's really weird. I will write you a PM.
Adblocker?
Probably not, because today I can see the chat.
Anyways, I got the 1GB version and the deploy time is almost instant after the payment. Their custom made control panel is pretty straightforward - I like it.
I got the server in DE, since UK is doing some weird shit to privacy law.
So far, so good.
Got a custom quote from Nik. Impressed with support & server performance so far. Hope it stay this way. Here is a benchmark if anyone interested, it's in London
I just got one of those thingies. First report:
The "live chat" is a joke. Response time is lousy - well noted, a response time of 20 or even 60 min. is perfectly fine IMO but then don't call it "live chat".
Otherwise, I'm positively surprised. Unlike many others who offer weird and/or troublesome remote consoles, nodion has a working one right in the web panel. When I bought my VPS I could see things progressing in the console right away. It has, of course, like all remote consoles some small quirks but anyway: All in all a nice working thing, kudos.
The rc/conf is minimal but reasonable. One suggestion though: nodian might want to offer some click thingy in the web interface to set the keyboard language. Newbies often have problems with that and nodion creates the rc.conf on the fly anyway so it wouldn't be a problem to include the keyboard lang.
The machine itself - remember, we are talking about a 12€/year thingy here! - is pleasantly responsive. I'm positively surprised and I have seen quite some VPSs at 3 times the cost which were less responsive.
All in all: A clear recommendation. Well done, nodion!

Update
I liked that dirt-cheap little vps enough to ask for another one but with quite different specs. And I'm impressed. The nodion people showed themselves flexible, friendly and fast. I have now my second vps with them and I can say that it's a rather special custom config at a really attractive price. Great to see providers who offer more than the usual "click in the template" deals.
P.S. The live chat "complaint" I had earlier turned out to be due to them setting up new hardware in the colo, so I take my remark back; after someone must put the hardware into the racks .... Once Nik took some time aside to sit down with me, everything went fluently.
I'll keep you updated but from what I've seen so far I expect smooth and fast sailing.
Thanks for the feedback. We've actually improved the disk speed on all new host systems (which were installed yesterday) by a lot. Everyone reinstalling their machine or creating a new one will be on the new host systems.
Hi do you have offer for 4GB RAM, 40GB ssd and 2TB traffic?
Tried to install/run openvpn on Debian Jessie but can't load tun
Maybe broken kernel?
